How to Data Dashboard

What this tool does

Upload any CSV or Excel file and explore it — columns are auto-classified as numeric or categorical, and you build charts and cross-tabs on the Query tab. Pin results to the Dashboard tab, a freeform canvas of tiles you can arrange and export. Other tools across the site can Send to Dashboard, dropping their charts straight in. Save the layout as a template to reuse it later. Everything runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Step by step

Get data in. Drop a CSV/Excel file at Step 1, or receive it from another tool's Send to Dashboard banner. If you have a saved template, load your data file first, then load the template to fill its named tiles.
Build a query on the Query tab — pick a type (distribution, cross-tab, scatter, group compare, time series, radar), fill the dropdowns, then Run.
Pin to dashboard. Click Pin to dashboard to push the chart onto the Dashboard tab. Add text or image tiles too.
Arrange the tiles on the Dashboard canvas — drag to move, drag the corner to resize — then export the layout as a PNG.
Save a template to reuse the layout, query configs and column types (not the data) on a future session.

Tips

Templates save the layout, not the rows. Load a template before your data only if you want it to fill named tiles automatically; otherwise load data, then the template.
Wrong column type? Click any chip on Step 2 to toggle numeric ↔ categorical.
